This place is so unique! We really enjoyed our time with the farm animals
and Bonnie the host was so sweet. She had the place all set up before our arrival with the yard sign for my husbands bday. The place is so unique and comfortable and centrally located to Waco and Temple Tx. December 2023

The Silo House at Laughing Llama Farm is one of the coolest experiences we have ever had. It was incredible! The house was wonderful and the farm was so great. We would absolutely do it again because we made a bunch of new furry friends! Bonnie is a phenomenal host and we would recommend the stay to anyone! December 2023

We had a party of 4 including 2 children. The silo was child friendly and safe. There were lots of local recommendations but plenty to do and enjoy on the farm. We recommend the additional packages (farm tour, mimosas, smores) because they were all great. Being able to open the door and see the animals and interact with them was so fun for the kids and adults. Bonnie was very generous and kind throughout the whole stay. December 2023

I’ve stayed at a number of AirBNB’s over the years, this one BY FAR exceeded them all. Bonnie was an amazing host. She was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was everything as advertised and then some! We will be back! If you are thinking about staying here, think no longer! You won’t regret booking a trip here! October 2023

We just had the best week at the farm and silo house. Bonnie is an excellent host and the silo was a pleasantly different experience. Her eye for art and attention to detail was evident throughout the silo inside and out. If you are looking for super quiet getaway to relax in a truly enjoyable and unique Air BnB, this is the place for you. The animals were a lot of fun, especially the goat, "Little D". There are several restaurants and an HEB that are all just a short drive away. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and will definitely be back! October 2023

What a beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend it! Our kids loved it. October 2023

This airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The inside was beautifully and fun! There was so many things that you could do inside besides watch tv. Outside was great, the llamas came right up to the fence along with the momma cow and her baby, the goat and the sheep! My daughter loved the experience. October 2023

My stay at the Laughing Llama Farm was nothing short of incredible! Surpassed my expectations for sure.
What a great place and so much love and creativity put into this place... not even sure where to start..... Llama tell you this ( lol) : the Llamas, chickens, goat, cow, cat... all of the animlas had such personalities ! Then there is the Silo ( wow) what a cool build and incredibly artistic and unique, very well done... and then Bonnie and her family - the Barn Store to shop! I mean who could ask for more.... but there is more...
A lovely hostess welcome card, a bottle of wine, I mean this was just amazing... the views and breeze sitting on the rockers outside. It was just what I needed, rest - rejuvenation and fun ! I can not say enough about this place and of the hostess and her family ( the 2 legged and 4 legged ones).. Best Air BnB stay yet !
You will only be dissappointed if you DONT book your stay here!
Cant wait to go back! September 2023

I really can’t rave enough about how wonderful our stay was at the Laughing Llama Farm. Bonnie has done an amazing job creating this incredibly welcoming space for guests. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she has done a wonderfully delightful job decorating. My 10 year old son and I took a mother son trip here for 2 nights. It was so relaxing and comfy. We did the farm experience and Bonnie was so amazing with my son who is on the autism spectrum. She completely rolled with his quirks and followed his lead and made him and I feel so welcome and at ease. My son loved playing in the outdoor shower and feeding the llamas that came up to the fence in the evening. It was a beautiful weekend that I will cherish forever. August 2023

Wonderful stay, lovely location. Bonus amenities included that were a wonderful surprise. Bonnie is the best host and the farm tour was so fun. We purchased the ad-on raw milk and it tasted just like when I was kid. It’s just a beautiful home that we enjoyed thoroughly. August 2023

The Silo House at Laughing Llama farm was even better than we could have possibly imagined from the pictures and descriptions. If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway to take a breath of life, looking to heal your inner child, or looking to bond with others, this is the place! This experience was “simple done right”, Bonnie truly went above and beyond with the little details. Every time we looked around the house there was something new to appreciate. Feeding the llamas and meeting Bonnie was the cherry on top! August 2023

The Silo House was a perfect weekend getaway. Don’t worry about going in the summer, the AC will keep you very cool! Bonnie was extremely accommodating during our stay and I can’t say enough good things about this getaway. The animals on the farm are extremely entertaining also. August 2023

The Silo House was amazing. Bonnie was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us the tour, allowed us to help with the llamas and the farm animals. The house was very cozy. The bed was so comfortable. The Silo house was great. Exactly the quiet getaway we were looking for. Bonnie was awesome. Quick response when we had any questions. Beautifully and uniquely decorated house. Defiantly outside of the city but only a short drive into Waco for anything you might want to do. Loved it, would highly recommend if interested in a quiet getaway only a short 2 hr drive from the DFW area. July 2023

More quaint, beautiful and thought out than what the photos can show. Clear instructions for everything and so much provided. We had an amazing, quiet weekend watching the hummingbirds, goat, sheep, and llamas, and showering under the sun and stars. Every bit of five stars. June 2023

We had a fantastic stay and really wouldn't change anything. We loved the location and amenities. The animals were super hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Bonnie was amazing and checked in on us several times as storms rolled through the area. 10/10 recommend. there was wine and fresh farm eggs in the fridge upon arrival and snacks, which was greatly appreciated after long days of travel. June 2023

Make sure to do the farm experience!!!! We had an absolute blast here. Such a relaxing little get away from society. Perfect mornings for coffee on the porch & beautiful sunsets to drink a beer to. Thank you so much…… & Llama Llama ding dong.. lol. June 2023

The Silo House is an absolute gem!! Every single detail is absolute perfection. The house itself was pristine and had everything you might need. The decor was so incredibly unique. Bonnie went above and beyond to help me surprise my mom with a birthday getaway. The llamas and other animals added to the charm. I would highly recommend this delightful home to anyone wanting a fun, relaxing getaway! Lastly, make sure you check out the little shop in the barn where you will find many wonderful goodies and gifts! June 2023

The Silo was the perfect place to unplug and find some peace. It was exactly what we needed. The space was well equipped and very clean. Comfortable bed and we appreciated the added thoughts like tea/coffee, chocolates and wine.
The animals were the highlight of course! They came right on by when we arrived to meet us, feeding them was wonderful and they were so cute! Especially loved Buddy, I’ve never met such a friendly sheep! He wanted to be pet the whole time!
We’ll definitely be booking again next time we need a healthy portion of nature and peaceful living. May 2023

Cannot recommend staying here highly enough!! Bonnie has curated a beautiful, clean space full of bright colors and fun surprises. She is so kind and helpful but the home is so well furnished you’ll hardly need to reach out to her! The animals are fun to watch and interact with, even as more of an indoor type of girl. This was such a sweet retreat and I can’t wait to visit again! Next time I will probably bring my own bottled water or a brita pitcher, since the tap water was not my favorite (it normally doesn’t bother me so I didn’t even think about it). But compared to all the things that make this a great choice, the drinking water is the most minor detail to work around, and Bonnie provided some bottled water so I was totally taken care of. Just a heads up for the water divas among us. Again, this is so worth it, you will NOT regret staying here. May 2023

I would recommend booking the Laughing Llama just to experience Bonnie; she is an incredible person who is on the next level of airbnb hosting. If I could give her 10 stars, I absolutely would. My family and I have experienced quite a few different airbnbs and have learned what to pack and expect. Bonnie was five steps ahead of us on everything. We wanted for nothing at the Laughing Llama, and after the difficult months we've had, it was an immense relief to come here and feel like we were 1000% taken care of. Instructions and communication ahead of our stay and throughout were quick and personable. Checkin/out were so easy with the touchscreen that gave us a clear to-do list (including wifi info). The add-on packages for our stay were phenomenal. We got the smores package, the fresh milk, the farm experience, and the charcuterie board and recommend them ALL. The farm was an incredible experience. It was so hard to leave; we're already looking forward to our next visit. May 2023

Basically, if this is in your budget, you have to do this. Such an amazing experience, and I see that the place was built with love and continues to be maintained with love. you can tell that Bonnie puts the animals in the guests before herself. So many games, llama feed, and amenities. The M&M’s and snacks on the counter in addition to waters and farm fresh eggs were such a nice touch. She does all she can to make sure you have a magical stay. If you do stay don’t miss out on the Farm Experience for an additional fee. We loved walking the llamas around the property. I cannot say enough about how cool this place is. We got lucky to hear a thunderstorm pass over us one night. You won’t find a more unique stay and I cannot imagine leaving feeling anything more than ecstatic over the whole experience. May 2023

Our host seemed to anticipate our every need and was readily available whenever we needed help. Everything was in working order.
We felt right at home the moment we entered the Silo House. Sitting on the patio, drinking our coffee while watching the llamas, goat, sheep, and the cow named Sue, we felt like we didn’t have a care in the world.
The whole experience was wonderful! April 2023

Silo house at Laughing Llama Farm was exactly what our family needed for a weekend out of the city. Bonnie, the host, was incredibly responsive/helpful/friendly, and the accommodations were eclectic/comfortable/top notch. If you are looking for a quiet weekend away, can’t imagine it being any better than this! Kids loved feeding the llamas/goat/sheep too. And you have to check out Bonnie’s shop in property. Great souvenirs and Bonnie is such a talented artist. Thank you Bonnie! April 2023

This AirBNB took our whole weekend to the next level. It was super cute and the llamas were the best. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The water was hot and the shower was spacious and had good pressure. Bonnie was super friendly and an awesome host. We added on the tour and it was perfect even with some unexpected weather. If you’re an animal lover this is a great place to stay. She had a binder with info on the place and area that was great. We ordered pizza delivery from the place recommended and they knew exactly where we were staying and were excited to bring it to us because “they love that house so much” ☺️ It was easy to get to all the surrounding towns and even at night it wasn’t hard to drive the country roads. I would definitely stay again. April 2023

This is truly a wonderful place! My husband and I decided to stay at the silo for his birthday and for our wedding anniversary. Bonnie is an amazing host! The silo is beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend the llama experience. March 2023

The Laughing Llama Farm was exacty what my twin girls wanted and the set up was perfect, with just enough freedom to move around the pasture and enjoy all the farm ammenities, including "Little D" the friendly goat, "Sue" the friendly cow, sheep, chickens, a cat and of course the llamas.
The Silo House is worth the stay! It's very clean, easy check-in/check-out, not hard to find, full of modern ementities and very accessible to all the farm has to offer. Bonnie and her family were great, always available if we needed anything and welcomed us with open arms. My girls never wanted to leave the property once we checked in for our stay, so we cooked and ate at the Silo. And honestly, we should have booked 3 nights to soak in the entire atmosphere and relax, so we'll definitely be back in the near future.
Laughing Llama Farm and the Silo House is worth its weight in memories, and certainly no shortage of "laughs" on our trip! March 2023

I highly recommend a visit to the Laughing Llama farm. The Silo House is cozy, charming, and beautiful. The hostess was very welcoming and even had farm fresh eggs for us. My sons and I absolutely loved hand feeding the llamas with the food that was provided. Overall a very unique and lovely experience! March 2023

Fantastic, memorable place. The host was warm, friendly and helpful, and the farm animals are friendly, fun and memorable 😀. The place was beautiful and the stay was unique and comfortable (although the windy night initially freaked us out a bit as we were essentially staying inside a very nice grain bin 😅) Bonnie went out of her way to do a bit of “show and tell” for our teenage children with Honey Bunny the cute rabbit, the little chicks, Little D the rambunctious goat 🐐 and our favorites - Sue the cow, the sheep Buddy and llamas and the brand new baby llama. Loved the ritual of llama feeding especially by hollering “Llama Llama Ding Dong 😆🤣 - works like a charm and the llamas and animals come running to you! Everyone had a blast and we will be back!! March 2023

The Silo House at Laughing Llama Farm is beautiful! We had the best time learning about the animals and feeding them. Walking around the pasture at sunset was so romantic. 1000% would recommend. You have got to stay here if you are looking for a fabulous experience. Bonnie is an incredible host. She has covered all the small details in this space and thrown in a few pleasant extras. Peaceful, super clean, clear instructions, super comfortable as if I was in my own home. I don’t often write reviews, but this old grain silo is a sight to be seen. Well done Bonnie. I will see you again, and thanks for caring about my old truck enough to let me park it in your covered area to keep it safe during that early spring storm. We had an amazing stay - this is one of the best AirBNBs we have stayed at. Everything was extremely well organized, clean, and inviting. The design and decor all tied together very well and made for a relaxing atmosphere. We spent time learning all about the farm, llamas, and how to handle them - certainly a fun experience and we learned a great deal. It’s secluded, private, quiet, and so serene. We sat outside often either to turn on the fire and make s’mores or just enjoy the beautiful mornings with our mimosas. (Get the Mimosa Package. You won’t be disappointed!
The Farm Experience is a MUST! My 10 and 11 year old absolutely LOVED it! We all have a newfound love for llamas and all things farm and I’m not mad about it ha!

Drinks on the porch were great, fireplace at night, the llamas were so cute and each had such a personality. My 9 year old learned all of their names better than me! We stayed at the Silo House on the Laughing Llama Farm for our anniversary weekend. In a word, relaxing. The house itself is charming and very well stocked. Bonnie was such a wonderful host. The phrase “attention to detail” comes to mind. As we entered the house on a steamy hot July day, the house was cool and it seemed to say, “Welcome!” because music was playing, ambient lights were on, wine and snacks on the kitchen island and a hand written note from Bonnie on the table wishing us a happy anniversary and a pleasant stay. She left a well-organized binder on local information, bios on each llama, house details, etc…AND she left a bowl of fresh eggs from her “happy hens” in the refrigerator! (July 2022)

I don’t really know where to begin. Let me just tell you what a magical place this is. Even though our stay was brief it was worth every minute we were there. Bonnie has created an experience you will remember and cherish. If you need a recharge or a disconnect you can’t go wrong staying here. I mean…Llamas! they make everyone smile no matter what! You can tell Bonnie put a lot of love into the silo house which comes through in all of her design, artwork, and small details which make you feel so comfortable and relaxed. When you leave you will already be planning your trip back! (July 2022)

We loved our stay at The Silo House! Bonnie is an amazing host and the experience was so much fun. The kiddos loved feeding the llamas, sheep, and of course the goat Lil D and playing with the dogs. A super relaxing stay. From quiet nights on the porch, beautiful mornings drinking coffee and watching the very active hummingbirds this place taps into tranquility and relaxation. The outdoor shower was surprisingly awesome and quickly became one of my favorite parts. Bonnie has thought of everything. Outdoor entertainment, family games, BBQ and full kitchen, and so many opportunities to just kick back and enjoy time together. (July 2022)

This place is amazing! The attention to detail is beyond expectation. My husband and I stayed 4 nights. The bed is a queen, and very comfortable. I love the bamboo (Website hidden by Airbnb) soft. If you look around, you will find everything you need. A large mirror that you can take out of the armoire to have a full size mirror. Hangars included in the armoire, iron, small ironing board. Extra pillows and linens, if someone stays on the fold out sofa. The kitchen has all of the necessary tools to cook. The TV sound system is excellent with the vaulted ceiling. Put on the radio and it sounds like it has a built-in stereo system.
Both showers are excellent. Tankless water heater so all of the hot water you need. I brought my makeup mirror since the mirror in the bathroom is small. I used the dining table while my husband used the bathroom mirror to shave and get ready. Toaster, microwave, blender and other accoutrements are in the cupboard.
Everything was immaculate. You can tell Bonnie takes pride in her airbnb! And the llamas!!! Oh, the joy with the llamas....and Billy Goat:)
This place is close to Salado, Waco, Temple. Not in the city with the craziness, but you can get there, if you want.
I am SO glad I found this place in the OMG section of Airbnb. It is a very pleasant, fun experience! I highly recommend it! (July 2022)

We really just can’t recommend the Silo enough. Thank you again Bonnie! (June 2022)

This was, hands down, the most amazing & unforgettable adventure! We took our kids, ages 11 & 12, on this trip as a surprise destination. We weren’t sure how they would react, but it now tops their list of favorite places we’ve been! Bonnie was an awesome host. She taught us so much about life on the farm & kept the fun going with extra feed! The animals had so much personality, especially that “Lil D” the goat. You have to do the llama experience if you visit! The fresh farm eggs were an added bonus. This is an extremely well kept & thought out spot for families to get away & enjoy some time together. Bonnie has thought of it all! Plenty to do…or not. Totally your call! For our family, it was a perfect balance of relaxation & fun! (May 2022)

A magical place to stay! It is a great stay for all ages! (May 2022)

We enjoyed our visit so much. So much detail put in to the design of the house and supplies available. Everything you could possibly need is at your fingertips. Make sure you take a shower under the stars every night and feed the llamas every morning when you get up. Such a relaxing trip!! We did the llama walk and I totally recommend that for adults and kids.
Thanks Bonnie for a great time. (May 2022)

Bonnie & Frank have created an immersive getaway experience that made memories we will cherish for a lifetime with our children. The craftsmanship and detail that went into building this silo house is truly incredible. The laughing llama farm and all of the unique personalities of each animal is a whole vibe ✨
We can’t wait to come back! This is a Texas experience that should be put right at the TOP of your bucket list ASAP.
Thank you Chapa family, for welcoming us into your space and your hearts. Dave, Grayson, Addy & I are overjoyed by our experience at the laughing llama farm! 💜 see you again soon!! “LLAMA LLAMA DING DONG!!!” 🔔 (May 2022)

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The silo is decorated beautifully. We spent time looking around and taking it all in. It was great to wake up and see all the animals. The llama experience was awesome and we keep talking about all the animals we met. Bonnie is a phenomenal host, a talented artist and story teller! We are planning to return because we enjoyed it that much. You definitely won’t be disappointed. (May 2022)

This place is amazing! My husband and I enjoyed 2 nights here and loved every minute! Bonnie was very easy to get ahold of and we loved the game experience. The Silo at Laughing Llama Farm gave us the best weekend experience! Every bit of the Silo home is so perfectly put together. It is such a fun, vibrant, welcoming space. Our girls had a blast feeding the animals just a step outside the front door as well as doing the llama experience at the barn! Our daughters haven’t stopped asking when we will go back. Mom & Dad enjoyed learning about the farm, a comfy bed with extra soft sheets, delicious fresh eggs and sitting on the porch reading and watching humming birds and the kids keep busy! (April 2022)

We had a fantastic stay at the farm. And the llama experience was well worth it! (April 2022)

You’ve got to come and stay here!! The silo is super cute and fun and the animals are fantastic and friendly :) A definite unique stay and we loved it! (April 2022)
*****
Awesome silo! We loved it so much! Cozy just like home. Loved the full size stove & bigger kitchen than most Airbnb’s. We got to feed the llamas & take lots of cute pictures from the fence. This home is bright & cheerful. Love the location of being out in the country. Took some back roads (dirt) to drive over to Temple to the meat market. Got steaks & grilled out on the big porch at the silo house. We enjoyed our short stay here! (March 2022)
*****
What a beautiful and fun stay! Bonnie was incredibly accommodating and the whole experience was better than we could have imagined! We had a great family getaway at the farm. The silo is very roomy, clean, kid-friendly and very well stocked-we had everything we needed! A super quiet and private area and very still and calm at night! Such a dream! Our kids were begging to come back as we packed up to leave! (March 2022)

Loved staying here. The place was super clean. The llamas were super fun. Bonnie was very accommodating. Definitely buy the farm experience- it was really great for my kids. Would definitely love to return. (March 2022)
*****
Amazing location, y'all! It was very clean and looked exactly like the (Website hidden by Airbnb) bait and switch here. The silo was outfitted with all of the little touches that made our trip worry and stress free. For example, at the moment i was panicking when i discovered that i forgot my toothpaste and was thinking I'd have to use my daughters bubble gum flavored toothpaste, i noticed the travel size tube that was provided to the guests. Stuff like that made a big difference.
Bonnie is a fantastic host and the location adjacent to the farm was convenient if you do the llama experience, which i highly recommend also. (March 2022)

This was the PERFECT birthday weekend getaway for myself and partner. The silo cottage is so cute, cozy, and has everything u could possibly need from the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (away from home) to a tea kettle for hot tea on a cold morning and M&M's in a glass jar for a sweet treat at night. My partner was in contact with Bonnie prior to our arrival and upon our arrival had a flower arrangement, a mimosa tray for the am with 2 fresh loaves of banana bread and bowls of fruit for our morning, and a cute little smores box complete with everything we need for smores that evening. We were provided farm fresh eggs for to cook for breakfast in a full size fully stocked kitchen and that was an added bonus! We were also provided fishing poles and a tackle box to fish in their stock pond which we took advantage of on a beautiful crisp sunny day. We also loved the tranquility of the place, it's so peaceful and quiet and the sunsets are beautiful! Our favorite part of the stay was the animals!! From panther the barn cat who loves to hang around the silo and keep u company, to Little D - the margarita, graham cracker loving little goat! 😄 They're a hoot!
Mrs. Bonnie's tour of the farm is a thing not to be missed! We LOVED meeting the llama's learning interesting facts about them and getting acquainted with their individual personalities. We learned how to harness and unharness the llamas and were able to take them for a walk down to the silo for a photo with them.
I can not say enough how special this stay was for me and how pleasant, kind, generous and accommodating Mrs Bonnie is! If you're thinking about booking a stay, don't think, just do it! You won't regret it! (March 2022)

Expect to have a peaceful and restful stay. I enjoyed the interesting reading material (fyi- I’m not a reader) the thoughtful complimentary items that were set up. Comfortable and pleasing accommodations. The host is my kind of people. I had the pleasure of visiting with her and hearing some of her story. She is the real deal. We had perfect temperatures for enjoying the outdoor fire in the chiminea. Outdoor Bluetooth in the light fixture that I discovered accidentally was sweet for being outside! (March 2022)

BOOK IT! Bonnie has created a one of a kind experience for her guests and thought of every detail. We were welcomed with a handwritten note, fresh farm eggs, snacks and treats to munch on and lots of family games and books to cozy up with. After breakfast, literally 10ft from our front door, we were greeted by her sweet llamas and given a couple bags of feed for them. We had such an amazing stay this past weekend and already talking about our next visit. Thank you for the beautiful memories we’ve made at The Silo House! (February 2022)
*****
The Silo was absolutely amazing, we enjoyed our 3 night stay. The house has pretty much everything you need tv, wifi, washer/dryer, coffee maker, towels, blankets, games, etc. The size of the house was perfect for my little family (husband, 6 year old daughter, and myself). We enjoyed our stay here and love the fact that the area is nice and quiet, lots of peace especially at night. But we also liked that the location is just about 25 minutes from Waco or about 15 minutes from Temple; so we had options for shopping or dining out.
The animals at the farm are so sweet and adorable. My daughter enjoyed being able to feed and pet the animals, we’ll definitely miss our favorite, Lil D the goat. Bonnie gave us plenty of feed for the animals and even gave us more on our last night since we ran out. We definitely want to come back in the future for another stay at this cute house. The llamas were so much fun! This little AirBnB is so charming and has everything you need for your stay. (Jan 2022)

We absolutely LOVED this place. I feel like this might be my favorite AirBnb yet! I'm a huge lover of llamas, they are my absolute favorite so if you are like me, go ahead and book your stay! My only regret was not booking a longer trip. The Silo House is adorable. You will find everything you need and more. The bed was super comfortable. The house was fully stocked with all the essentials and was super easy to find with its own separate drive way. Check in was easy. I think my favorite part was feeding the llamas as they provide you with llama feed, gives you a nice time of being able to interact with the llamas. I have already recommended this place to my friends and hope to be back soon! - (Jan 2022)

Easily one of my top BEST Airbnb experiences to date. We had a welcome message, fresh eggs, and a bottle of wine waiting to welcome us into the Silo House for us to have a wonderful stay. The place is very clean and cozy, we felt right at home our whole stay there. My cousin and I stayed with her 2 year old daughter, and I can say the Silo is definitely family friendly. When it was bedtime, there were a few llama children's books for us to read to her! Bonnie was also amazing in making sure my niece was included with our Llama experience we booked, and I 10/10 recommend booking to meet the animals. The llamas are so sweet natured. Bonnie is awesome, and she was there if we needed anything, which helped make sure our stay was stress free. I'm looking forward to staying again, and I've already recommended this stay to my friends! - (Jan 2022 - Airbnb)

Exactly as presented, excellent farm stay with friendly animals, a unique living space, and it is definitely very remote and quiet at night. This is the kind of place you will want to go if you really want to get away from the noise and lights of city and suburbia as it is quite remote, while also not being too far to drive over to Waco for a day trip. The living space is well kept and pretty well insulated to the point that you barely realize that you're inside a silo once you enter. The farm animals are all pretty friendly and definitely up for their snacks that you can give to them (the goat, naturally, is always up for snacks and will often come over just at the sight of you). To say Panther the cat is friendly, though, is understatement of the year - this kitty never tires of getting rubs and scratches and constantly hangs out on the porch, waiting for the next time you come out to give him some more attention. - (Sep 2021)

From the kitchen to the grill, bathroom bedroom and entertainment, we had everything we needed for our stay provided for us! We brought our own food and condiments to cook/grill out, and if you forget anything, town is close by for your shopping/dining out needs. We think the setup of the SiloHouse makes a perfect stay for small families with kids. We did a couple's getaway, and it's a great place for that too. Our suggestion is to reserve their packages ahead of time. They are definitely worth it! Also, go and make friends with the animals. They're the heart of this place! - (Aug 2021 - Airbnb)

Need an amazing and memorable getaway? The Silo House at The Laughing Llama Farm is a one of a kind Texas gem. Llamas, sheep, and the cutest little goat are right outside your door. Plus the house is amazing. Instead of just shopping at silos in Waco, stay in a silo! We also did a farm experience. My girls got to harness and walk llamas, feed chickens, and tried to collect eggs (broody hens were sitting on them). Even if you don't do the farm experience, you can just hollar "llama llama ding dong" and the animals will come running to your gate. Or you can walk out to the pasture and just enjoy the animals up close. There is a catch and release fishing pond too. Bonnie is the owner and a wonderful host. You will leave feeling like you are old pals. My girls loved it so much, they cried as we drove away. We will definitely be back! - (Aug 2021)

Highly highly recommend making the trip to visit the Silo House at Laughing Llama House! Even if you just consider the house by itself, it is worth the trip - it's so eccentric and unique with thoughtful touches sprinkled throughout. Then, add on the llamas (and sheep, goats, chickens and cat!), and it becomes a great experience even to just sit on the porch, drink coffee and enjoy the view. The host, Bonnie, is very communicative and welcoming. She is clearly passionate about the animals and loves to share that passion with others. We would be lucky to visit again in the future! *If visiting with a lower car, take your time entering the driveway to avoid scraping - it was fine once we figured it out! Also, the game "Trash Panda" is more complicated than the box makes it seem! :)" - (Jul 2021 - Airbnb)

We really, really enjoyed our stay at The Silo. The place is even better than the pictures - with cute llama touches, local art, local tourist info, and a well-stocked (and labeled!) kitchen, including eggs from the farm (delicious!). The covered patio is a great place to sit, pet Panther the black cat, watch the llamas, and read. We could tell that Bonnie put a lot of effort into making this a really great and unique place to stay. At night we could see the Milky Way; it is a great spot for stargazing. We also did the farm experience and enjoyed getting to know two llamas up close and personal. I would highly recommend both the Silo and the farm experience, and I hope to visit again. - (Jun 2021)

A truly unique place, Bonnie has crafted a one-of-a-kind home in the Silo. Beautifully decorated, clean, & peaceful are just a few words that come to mind. We loved the natural light, amazing ceiling, breezy porch, rocking chairs, outdoor shower, and of course all the animals on the farm. Panther the cat was also a family favorite. Truly one of the best Air bnb's I've stayed at. The farm was beautiful, quiet, and amazing llamas and other critters to interact with. The hostess offered great hospitality. The Silo itself was amazing. We really felt right at home. Wonderful layout and farm decor from the arc stairway, bedroom loft, amazing wood ceiling, cute bathroom, and a kitchen with all we needed for cooking (farm fresh eggs included). The bed was very comfy, hadn't slept that well in years. Llamas, goats, and sheep just over the fence greeted us several times a day. Very peaceful farm setting. Most things like antique shops, breweries, and wineries were within a 30 min drive (we recommend Kissing Tree winery, host was great). - (May 2021)

If you're even thinking about booking this place, DO IT!!!! It is beautiful and homey on the inside, Bonnie has everything that you may need and includes so many thoughtful/personalized touches (don't want to give away any surprises!!) We did pay for the farm experience and had such an amazing time learning about the different animals, walking the llamas, and just getting some 1:1 time with them up close. We did fish on the property and both caught several! The location is great if you're going to Waco (we went to Magnolia) and we also visited breweries in Temple, Belton, and Salado. If you're into antiques there are several stores in Salado!! Bonnie has a guide with a lot of local recommendations. We would definitely love to come back again soon! I'm already missing having coffee on the porch in a rocking chair and looking out over the property and the animals grazing... would recommend 10/10! - (Apr 2021)

Honestly, this was one of the most memorable places we have ever stayed. I brought my son who prefers the company of animals over humans. I haven't seen him that happy in ages. He is such a gentle soul and completely connected with the animals. As far as the space goes, I was blown away by the design, special touches, and hospitality. The silo house is so awesome on its own, that just that alone would be enough. But then you add in the farm and it becomes an unforgettable experience. Bonnie answered so many questions and with speed, even though she was busy with her job. If you get a chance to meet Bonnie, you are in for a treat! You will not regret booking this wonderful house, sitting on the porch watching the spectacular sunsets, and getting to know the animals. Lastly, the house has everything you could possibly need to ensure you won't have to leave (unless you want to). Enjoy this incredible adventure! We can't wait to go back. - (Mar 2021)

We want to thank Bonnie at The Silo House for her hospitality. All of the attention detail and her impeccable farm-house styling was embedded in every nook and cranny of The Silo House and it didn't go unnoticed. In addition to the incredible accommodations, the farm far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Lil D the cutest goat you've ever seen and later met and feel in love with all his brothers and sisters (Luna Blue, Valentino, Bruce, Chianti, and the other llamas as well as the chickens, sheep and their newly born lambs, and Scarlet the puppy). This trip was a long awaited escape from a year long quarantine and it definitely was well worth the wait. We cannot thank Bonnie and her family enough for extending such warmth and welcoming hospitality. We may just become regulars. - (Mar 2021 - Airbnb)

We had a great stay. What a unique house! We loved it ALL and would highly recommend. Everything was clean and comfortable. My parents loved their getaway stay at the Silo. A cute and cozy change from the routine and a great opportunity to spend some time with goats and llamas! The Silo is well appointed with little touches to make the guests feel welcome and comfortable. I stayed there several months ago and liked it so much that I gifted my parents a trip as a Christmas gift. - (Jan 2021)

It doesn't get any better than this. The sunsets and sunrises are just gorgeous. All the animals are so sweet! We spent both days fishing and the llamas, goats, and cat all joined us. I guess they were our good luck charms because we caught some big bass in the pond! While we grilled out and made s'mores the llamas and goats came and sat at the fence and the cat came too. The house is so cozy and beautiful. There's no experience like it. I can't wait to tell my friends and family all about my trip and can't wait to come back again! Thank you Bonnie for the best trip ever! - (Jan 2021)

The absolute perfect place to take a break during this difficult Covid year while still being able to stay perfectly safe! It was super clean, super cute, super peaceful, lots of thoughtful touches, kitchen stocked with enough pans and utensils and dishes to make a feast, and a bowlful of fresh farm eggs, plus of course the llamas, goats, sheep, cow and calf, just made it all perfect! Be sure to also order the smores package with the ingredients for the best smores ever roasted in the chiminea! - (Dec 2020)

This was a very unique stay! Probably the only time I will ever get to sleep inside a grain silo. The space is clean decorated eclectically with light hearted and comical touches. The bathroom is a bit small but honestly it is not a big deal - what do you expect since you are living inside a renovated grain silo! The stairwell is a little precarious that should not be a problem if your child is at least four years old. We did not know what to expect with the llama farm but in fact every morning a group of llamas walked straight up to the fence about 20 feet away from the front door of the silo. My children had a wonderful time feeding the llamas and getting to learn each of their interesting personalities. (Some are bossy and some are sweet -just like people!) we paid a little extra for a guided tour of the livestock operation (chickens, sheep, goat, llamas, cows) which my children loved and as city folk I found extremely interesting. We even tried to train and walk a young llama around the property which was jolly good fun and not very successful in a memorable way. In the evening our family enjoyed sitting on the front porch area in rocking chairs next to a lit chiminea while watching the stars. All in all I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a stay off the beaten path! It was a memorable trip for my family. I know my kids will remember this forever. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your home with us! - (Dec 2020)

We had such a blast! Our 15 month old daughter loved feeding the animals. This was such a fun experience for us city folk who needed a place to rest and refresh. I will be suggesting this experience to all of our friends and family! Walking into the beautifully decorated silo and seeing the Christmas tree truly warmed my heart. That was such a special touch. Fresh eggs and wine were the cherries on top. You have created such an awesome place. I can't wait to go back! We love the little fawn goat. He is too cute for words! You will enjoy such a peaceful experience with the best sunset views at the silo house! - (Dec 2020)

Our stay at Bonnie's Silo House and Llama farm was so much fun! We loved walking outside in the morning to find the sheep and goats running to the gate for some breakfast! The Silo was very clean and well stocked with many unexpected treats, like fresh eggs from the chickens! Also the sunsets here are incredible. I could not recommend this place enough! - (Dec 2020)

This Airbnb is officially the best accommodation I have ever had. Bonnie thought of everything to ensure that we would have the perfect weekend getaway. The friendly llamas, goats, & sheep that came running to you was the most incredible bonus!! The chiminea and firewood was perfect for S'mores in the evenings. The Bluetooth speaker light bulb on the patio was a pleasant surprise. The towels and bedding were all perfect. I can't wait to stay at this Silo again!! - (Dec 2020)

The Laughing Llama Silo on Laughing Llama Farm is a little peace of heaven. My wife and I were limited to a travel radius due to work, and therefore couldn't go home to California--So, I decided to make the best of the situation and discovered this little gem, and it happened to be available for the Thanksgiving holiday. Perfect for a socially distanced staycation (we drove up from Kingsville). Everything was beautiful. Bonnie has made the Silo feel like home. All the little touches and comforts of home. My wife and I both had to do work over the weekend, but we were cozy inside listening to the rain- and then we made sure to visit with out new animal friends. You will find a home straight out of an architecture magazine, a fully equipped kitchen (I did not struggle at all putting together a Thanksgiving meal), and a bottle of delicious local wine (and cute Llama coozies) to welcome you. The shower outside is refreshing, and the porch is perfect for an evening of smores and star gazing (yes, we brought out telescope). With Bonnie's Silo, and every little detail that's gone into it --- we were able to forget for a moment that we couldn't go home, and made for a memorable weekend. We hope to come back to yell LlamaLlamaDingDong at our furry friends. - (Nov 2020)

Bonnie and her Llamas are an experience you don't want to miss. The silo is beautiful and has everything you need for your get away. The llamas are friendly and made the trip very memorable. After having rented many vacation homes over the years, the silo house at laughing llama farm really stands out as the most unique, beautiful, memorable, and peaceful stayd we've ever had. The uniqueness of the house, combined with the beauty of the artwork and the details throughout the home along with the incredible personalized hospitality of the owners make it a one-of-a-kind experience that I can't recommend highly enough. With its location you feel like you're very secluded and the beauty of the land is incredible. However you have easy access to the many things to see in Waco. - (Oct 2020)

Where to start ? This stay is everything you expect it to be. There's llamas, there's goats, there's cows, there's chickens, and there's even some lambs in the mix. The animals are fun to interact with, and Bonnie was more than happy to introduce us to all of the animals on the farm. There's even fresh eggs you can get from the farm. The spade inside is absolutely wonderful, who would've thought turning a silo into a living space would be the best idea since sliced bread? There's also a fire place outside. The feed is inside the rustic fridge in case anyone else is wondering. Definitely a pleasure Bonnie, thanks for having us!" - (Oct 2020)

Super cute! The outdoor shower is the best! The silo is a super cool experience. Everything you could need Bonnie has provided even fresh eggs which I thought was super sweet! But the animals make it such an experience. My kids had a blast fishing and petting all of the animals. My kids even gave the baby goat a nickname billy eilish - (Oct 2020)

I stayed here for a sisters weekend and it was so much fun! Location is BEAUTIFUL in the quiet country. I loved the llamas and goats outside. The inside of the Silo was comfy and cozy and very welcoming. We spent a lot of time on the porch as the sunset and it was all just so relaxing and enjoyable. Bonnie is amazing! She came out as we were leaving and gave us extra feed to feed the llamas and goats with. I would 100% stay here again. Close to Waco where we visited the Magnolia silos and closer to Buc-ee's where we spent more time and money than Magnolia. But that's another review! The Silo at the laughing llama farm was amazing! - (Oct 2020)

This place is so amazing! From the breathtaking sunsets, the fabulous decor, and the chance to be up close and personal with sweet farm animals, this place now holds such a special place in my heart. This place is unique and one of a kind! You'll never forget your stay here! The llama's come when called (when you give them the secret phrase of course) and the outdoor shower is a fun addition! One of the most amazing Airbnb's we have stayed. We love every little detail!
The Silo House is one of the most amazing places we have stayed at. The house is so unique and charming, the decoration is outstanding, the ceiling is unbelievable, and the farm animals are just what the house needs to make it even more charming. Our 5 year old had the best time with the animals, she loved Little D, the little sweet goat, and feeding the llamas. Bonnie was very attentive to every question we had. Highly recommended! - (Sep 2020)

Lovely place to disconnect and relax. This is by far the best Airbnb experience we have had. - (Sep 2020)

LLamas are so close to front door and waiting to greet you every morning. We also saw Sue the cow, Panther the cat and goats to feed. - (Sep 2020)

Gorgeous space with everything you could possibly need! Bonnie did a fabulous job decorating the silo and making it feel "homey." This seems silly, but there was a point where I needed tape, and I was perfectly okay with buying some from a local shop. I then quickly found out that she had some located in the kitchen, along with other small items (birthday candles, for example!) that could be easily overlooked by a host to include. Bonnie thought of EVERYTHING and for that, we are so grateful! The personal touches were so sweet and thoughtful. We brought up an issue that occurred during our stay and she was extremely prompt in answering our questions and assisting with a solution. I can't say enough good things about our stay! We look forward to visiting again. - (Aug 2020)

We had such a fun time at our stay in the Silo House! 1. It's such a unique stay! The place is very modern and Bonnie has it set up with a lot of your needs! 2. I'm pretty paranoid with the pandemic, but we needed to get away... the cleanliness was SPOT ON! We felt comfortable and in peace. 3. My 5 and 2 year old had a blast trying to fish and feeding the animals!!! They are on the younger side and we felt SUPER safe with them there. The animals are gentle. 4. SASSY LLAMAS. Nothing beats watching them! We had so much fun interacting with them. 5. Bonnie is just a phone call away! We will be back! - (Aug 2020)

The Silo and all it has to offer was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. The decorations are so cute and fun. Bonnie's artwork was one of my favorite parts of the silo. The small touches and amenities were so thoughtful and helpful and she always responded quickly. It truly felt like a home away from home and we will definitely be back. AND I can't forget about the awesome experience with the llamas. My toddlers loved feeding them and we did it daily during our stay. Take the time to read what Bonnie has written about each of the llamas. I found myself getting teary eyed while reading it. If you are thinking about booking, just go ahead! You won't regret it! - (Aug 2020)

We LOVED our stay at the Silo House Laughing Llama Farm. We saw hummingbirds and sheep, fed the llamas and goat, and even had a lovely pet session with Panther the farm cat. Loved relaxing on the porch and seeing all the hummingbirds come visit. The silo is even cuter in person than it looks in the listing. It was incredibly cute and stocked up with everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days on the farm. The kitchen was fully stocked with water, fresh eggs and some complimentary snacks, tea, coffee, etc. Bonnie was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back. - (Jul 2020)

Bonnie's place is definitely a place I would recommend. staying in a silo and having it fixed up the way it was was beyond what I imagined. The ceiling is completely awesome. All the extra little touches are thoughtful and the theme is cute. The front porch area is a fantastic place to kick back and enjoy the view and the peacefulness. My daughter and I especially loved using the outdoor shower and of course feeding the llamas was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the sheep, especially the babies and watching their little antics. It's just far enough out to get away from it all but close enough especially to Waco to enjoy what it has to offer as well. - (Jul 2020)

We had a wonderful quarantined getaway here! The Silo is a unique place to stay, quirky and very well-appointed. It was spotlessly clean, and Bonnie left fresh eggs, snacks and wine. We enjoyed seeing, petting and feeding the llamas! Some spit at each other, but not us. They would just walk away if they didn't want us near. We very much enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening, watching the sunset, fireworks (on the 4th of July) and stars come out. Very relaxing. The welcome packet gives all the information you need about groceries, restaurants, and things to do (once the pandemic is over). I highly recommend it! - (Jul 2020)* * * * *

Staying at the Silo House was wonderful! It was the perfect weekend getaway for my partner's birthday, during quarantine. Bonnie was such an amazing host- she left thoughtful touches, such as a bottle of wine, fresh eggs, happy birthday on the chalkboard, and birthday candles. I will definitely stay at the Silo House again in the future, and recommend it to our friends. Also, we forgot our wine opener at the house, and she offered to ship it to us. Couldn't ask for a better host than Bonnie! - (Jun 2020)

Thank you for a wonderful stay at the beautiful silo. The details of the silo show the love and thought that went into its design.
Look no further. The Silo is a truly unique gem. First of all, the space was spotless. I have always wiped down surfaces when I go into hotels/rentals. I typically find that there is still some leftover dust/grime on tables, remote controls, light switches, knobs. When I wiped down the silo on arrival, the wipes remained white wo any discoloration! The silo is on the Laughing Llamas Farm. The llamas were friendly and the host provided llamas pellets for us to feed them. Our family enjoyed using the booklet to figure out each llamas name. Bonnie is a great host and provided kind gestures of wine and chocolates. Check in and check out were both seamless. This is the perfect place to escape the city. - (May 2020)

We booked The Silo for a local doctor that was coming in to help out at our practice. Bonnie was great at communication through the booking process and helping coordinate access directly to the traveling doctor. The property is well maintained and was meticulously cleaned before the our guest arrived. Every morning at our morning huddle she would tell us of the Laughing Llamas adventure. Thank you for the hospitality! - (May 2020)

The Silo House at The Laughing Llama Farm is a gem in central TX, conveniently located between Waco and Temple. We needed a "new" place to shelter in place for a few days, and this is perfect. Everything you could need is in the space, WiFi strong for work or school if needed. The fish were biting every morning and the local llamas were so much fun. We'll return!" - (May 2020)

Words will never be able to do this place justice! From the location, to the accommodations, to the farm - it was PERFECT in EVERY way! I booked this trip as a surprise mother/daughter getaway. The main plan was to attend Spring at the Magnolia Silos. I thought the Silo was an added plus - it turned out to be THE highlight of our trip. The Magnolia event was cancelled, but our trip still exceeded my expectations! We did visit Magnolia and did Fixer Upper Tour with Joey (see Airbnb Experiences) -- BUT nothing could top our experience at the Laughing Llama Farm. I saw the outdoor shower in the listing and thought it was cute, but never thought I'd actually use it - WELL - we used it for every shower - it was AMAZING! Every morning we arose, went outside and greeted our llama friends, watched Gilbert "run" across the field to insure his little goat belly got some food, too. We then headed to the outdoor shower for a heavenly experience. A nice hot shower under the stars - weather was perfect! The highlight every day was walking across the pasture with the llamas, sheep and Gilbert to visit Dee, their baby goat. He was the sweetest thing! Frank and Bonnie were amazing and let us feed him his bottle while we were out there. They are the most hospitable hosts - answering our 101 questions (that I am sure they answer constantly) - explaining the behaviors and habits of the animals and providing a silo that rivals anything Joanna Gaines has ever decorated! It is beautiful with the most amazing personal touches from the bed (even the sofa bed is extremely comfortable) to the games bin, hair dryer, lint brush, even a bottle of wine and fresh eggs - there is not a need that is not met! I plan on returning just to experience this magical place, again! We thought Magnolia would be the highlight of our trip (it was great) - but our stay at the Silo at Laughing Llama Farm will forever be a memory we will never forget!! Thank you, again, Frank, Bonnie, Landon and Logan for sharing your little piece of heaven!! I know it's not easy running a farm - but thank you for providing an experience of a lifetime for all! Love from Atlanta - Jonl, Amberly and Ashlyn - (Mar 2020)

Absolutely a must! The place is exactly as described but in person the small touches are extraordinary! The kitchen was great to cook in, had everything we needed plus more. We had such a great time and got exactly what we went for.
This place was awesome! While not as private as I originally thought and hoped, that didn't matter in the end due to the amazing time we had and the friendly host. We fed the llamas right when we got there and enjoyed their company, watching them in their pasture. Gilbert the goat moseyed over to us and let us love on him. We sat on the porch with a fire from the chiminea and enjoyed the peace and quiet, and I'm sure you could hear us laughing and having a blast for miles! Bonnie left us a bottle of wine and fresh eggs in the fridge. We got to meet and hold her baby goat which was life changing!! The house was so cute and clean and had everything we needed. I would completely recommend this house for anyone looking to get away from it all!!! - (Feb 2020)

This was our first time using Airbnb and we love to stay at unique places. The silo fit that and we were blown away by the communication before and during our stay! When you enter the silo you will see all the extra special and thoughtful touches throughout. It is cozy, clean, and just perfect. The morning we were leaving all the llamas were there to say goodbye. If your thinking about staying hear I promise you will not be disappointed! The best host, close to Waco, and overall a wonder experience. - (Nov 2019)

I've stayed in Airbnbs all over the world and, for some reason, never before have I felt so comfortably "at home" as quickly as I did here. Everything -- from walking into the sounds of country music and fresh eggs and wine waiting in the fridge to the jaw-dropping sunsets and absolutely adorable llamas -- was just perfect. It's also one of the most dramatic and gorgeously design conversions I've ever seen. It's hard to believe you're staying in a grain bin that was once abandoned in a field down the road! The only negative was having to leave! I will definitely be returning to the Silo at Laughing Llama Farm. - (Nov 2019)

The Silo House at the Laughing Llama Farm is an absolute gem! We had such a wonderful time feeding the llamas and watching all of the animals roam the pasture. Bonnie has thought of literally everything, even gifting us some farm fresh eggs and a bottle of wine! There is also plenty of wood for a fire in the chiminea and the outside shower under the stars is a special experience. We would recommend this amazing place to everyone! - (Nov 2019)

Adorable unique place to stay and relax
We had such a nice relaxing stay at this cute unique silo out in the country. We feed the llamas, watched the steady flow if humming birds at the feeder and relaxed on the quiet country porch every morning drinking coffee. Stocked with everything we needed. It was perfect! This is a short 30 minute drive from Waco and the magnolia marketplace. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be going back again. - (Sep 2019)

The Silo at Laughing Llama Farm is such a special place. The owner has thought in advance for any little thing you might need, all the way from llama food to frosted mugs in the freezer. Truly one of the most unique Airbnb homes I have ever stayed in. From the moment I pulled into the drive and saw the silo house, I was in love. It only got better once I went inside.....immediate relaxation. The following morning was spent feeding the llamas. But my favorite thing was the outdoor shower under the stars.....not to be missed. - (Aug 2019)

My mom and I came to check out the Magnolia craziness, and even though this house is outside of Waco, we thought it looked fun. We had a great time in Waco, but truly couldn't wait to get back each night just to lounge around with llamas at the Silo House. So tasteful, so well-equipped, so peaceful. We made dinner in a very well-stocked kitchen, watched hummingbirds flit around as the sun set, showered under the stars (although there is a beautiful shower inside, too, if that's not your thing), watched some Fixer Upper episodes, and laughed until we cried spending time with llamas (they do spit -- not a myth). If you're considering it, do it. - (Aug 2019)

This was my second time at The Silo at Laughing Llama Farm --and it was as wonderful the second time around! Just a beautiful, quirky place with the nicest host you could imagine. Plenty of privacy, but the llamas, sheep and cow are all there just a few steps outside of your door. Out in the country, but a short drive into Waco (be sure to visit the Balcones Distillery and Milo's All Day!) or an even shorter drive into Temple if you just need a grocery store. Many thanks to Bonnie for creating this wonderful home away from home! - (Jul 2019)

We really enjoyed our stay! Bonnie's personal touches, notes and the way the silo was decorated made our stay all the better. It was really fun visiting with Barrett the dog and all the llamas. Sweet baby llamas this spring, too. So so cute! The drive to Waco was about 25-30 minutes, so not too bad. And we found The Kissing Tree winery just a few minutes away. Awesome couple of nights. - (May 2019)

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and your beautiful land and animals. My daughter and I could not have asked for a better place to stay or a better host. The Silo House is the perfect getaway! The quiet surroundings, beautiful view, and perfect porch was worth every penny. The inside is so cozy and all the extra amenities and personal touches will make you feel right at home and never want to leave. The cherry on top was most definitely the sweet pup coming over for some hellos and feeding the llamas. We loved our first stay and it definitely won't be our last. - (Apr 2019)

Loved everything about this stay and will definitely recommend and be back again.
The most amazing place and host to ever cross paths with. Very immaculate and inviting with privacy. The best were all the little notes our host left us with welcoming us. Barrett and the Llamas were all a joy. Was in awww of the place the whole time there. Will definitely recommend and be going back. - (Apr 2019)

This is a lovely, lovely place. Beautifully decorated with (as others have noted) lots of fun decorative touches. I particularly loved the outdoor shower -- the weather was gorgeous, so I showered while looking up at a Central Texas sky full of stars. Of course, the llamas were the stars of the show, but my heart was stolen by Barrett, the farm guard dog. Bed and sofa bed were comfortable and cozy. Air conditioning worked great. Shampoo and soap and hairdryer provided, along with many fluffy towels. Everything you need for anything but the most involved meal preparation was in the kitchen. No complaints or constructive criticism at all about the amenities. The Silo House was far enough outside of Waco to feel really peaceful, but close enough to get to the "big city" relatively quickly (25-30 min.) While you're in Waco, don't miss Balcones Distillery and Milo's All Day (a fantastic Waco restaurant). I highly recommend the Silo House -- and I'm planning my return trip even as I write this! - (Apr 2019)

The Silo house has very thoughtful touches through out. Fresh Eggs in the refrigerator, coffee and filters provided. Soap and body wash in the bathroom were unexpected and appreciated. Plenty of Linens and LLama food. This is a great place with a beautiful setting. We will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality. - (Apr 2019)

I'm home now, and wish I was back on the Laughing Llama Farm! What an incredible, memorable experience. I'll truly remember it forever as a totally relaxing, unique, and fun time. I really wish we'd had more than a couple nights there. The silo is so beautiful with amazing craftsmanship. You walk in and it's very apparent that Bonnie is an artist. We loved all the fun and interesting touches. Then to find fresh eggs and wine in the frig! So thoughtful. The whole space was so comfortable and so clean. The highlights were feeding the llamas, having the cute goats run up to the fence, and just sitting on the porch in those rocking chairs, watching the sunset and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was a super easy trip up to Waco and all the things we wanted to see there. The notebook Bonnie left was so helpful in planning our outings. I'm going to tell everyone about this place, and I can't wait to come back. Thanks for everything, Bonnie! - (Apr 2019)

Bonnie was an excellent host. The small personal touches were a pleasant surprise. She brought so much joy to my wife who was celebrating her 50th birthday by allowing her to interact with all the animals including holding a 5 day old lamb. This was an experience she will never forget. - (Mar 2019)

Perfect Getaway!
My husband and I stayed at the Silo House for the weekend and our stay was above and beyond our expectations! From being welcomed by the local farm dog Barret, to the farm fresh eggs ready for us in the refrigerator- it truly felt like a home away from home. The house is 25 minutes from Waco so we were able to easily go into town and visit some antique shops and of course, Magnolia Market. One of the best parts about staying at the Silo House was the opportunity to feed the llamas! Being around the animals and the peace and quiet of outdoors was exactly what we needed to recharge. It was the perfect way to spend some quality time together. We can't wait to plan our next trip back! HIGHLY recommend!!! - (Mar 2019)

My wife and 2 boys (6, 3) had a wonderful experience! We just stayed on property and explored and enjoyed for 2 days! The dog Barrett was a hit from the moment we pulled up. Sunsets were beautiful. If you are looking for a unique experience, this is it! We were in awe of the silo, with all the obvious labors of love and craftsmanship. Then, on top of that, to sit on the front porch and enjoy the peaceful scenery, sweet animals, and all of Bonnie's thoughtfulness. It was amazing. The best part? Seeing all the genuine smiles from my 16-year-old son because he was having such a great time. Thank you!! - (Mar 2019)

Thanks for a unique and memorable experience
My husband and I stayed at Bonnie's silo house for 3 nights. It is exactly how it is portrayed in the pictures but even better in person. It is such a unique place, and it is evident a lot of hard work and thought went into creating the space. It was extremely clean, stocked with just about everything you could think you would need, and had a very "homey" feeling from the moment we walked in the door. Bonnie even left us personalized welcome notes and a few little extras..fresh eggs, wine, and some snacks, which was unexpected and very much appreciated! We chose the silo house for our home base while we were visiting Waco, and we enjoyed it so much we decided to just enjoy the space/farm our last day there..it was super cozy, especially on a day that ended up being pretty cold and windy. Overall, we had a GREAT experience and are so happy we chose Bonnie's silo house. It is an experience we will remember and be talking about for years to come. We would not hesitate to recommend the silo house to anyone and look forward to hopefully being able to visit again one day - (Mar 2019)

I can't wait to go back. I loved staying at the silo house. She has literally thought of everything. From the wine to the sweet notes and directions on how to feed the llamas. We had such a wonderful time! Bonnie was an amazing host and left thoughtful messages throughout the Silos House. She allowed us to love on her animals at the farm and explore the pasture. She had fun games to play and supplied us with fresh farm eggs. She literally thought of everything, shampoo, conditioner, soap, q tips ! Everything. All you need to bring is a pack back of clothes and your tooth brush (she supplies the tooth paste ) This was by far my favorite air bnb I have explored. We will certainly be returning - (Feb 2019)

Laughing Llama Farm far exceeded all expectations! The silo home was all inclusive of every detail, with personal notes and touches throughout the property. I had to work a bit during the trip, which was easy with the free wifi. No one knew that I was in a meeting while rocking on the front porch, drinking my coffee and watching the Llamas! The silo is excellently outfitted and beautifully decorated. We grilled steaks on the grill, sat out by the chimenea with a fire, danced inside with a glass of wine and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. This is a place where you can relax and feel at home as instantly as you arrive on the property. We will stay here again! - (Jan 2019 - Airbnb)

My dad and I booked this airbnb for a surprise anniversary trip for him and my mom. He had never stayed in an airbnb before and was nervous, Bonnie was the most amazing host and made their first experience so much better than I could have ever imagined. The silo is absolutely beautiful and Bonnie included so many thoughtful touches that made them feel welcome. She also included the most helpful visitors guide and food to feed llamas which they really loved. They enjoyed the privacy they had but also how close they were to stores and restaurants. The interior of the silo completely blew them away! If you're looking for somewhere to stay while visiting Waco or surrounding area this is a great choice!! - (Jan 2019 - Airbnb)
