This came from a photo I took on a riverboat tour on the San Antonio river walk. My husband and I went for our 12th wedding anniversary for a few days. The San Antonio river walk around Christmas and New Years is amazing. Lights, lights and more lights. Really, any time of year, but Christmas time? There’s nothing like it.
We were on a barge going down the river under a bridge when I took this picture. This is in the winter time obviously, but it sure didn’t look like it.
It makes me think of France, Paris, river something…somewhere? I guess. I don’t really know, I have never been to Paris, but this is how I imagine it to be in the Spring.
The fact that you can see the word, “Original” on the sign of the Original Mexican Restaurant, tied the whole idea together. Ask any Texan and they will be quick to tell you, San Antonio is an Original kind of place.
